This annual fundraiser, hosted by Jersey City Firefighters, is exciting and funny to watch.  There are over 100  Fire Department Ski Teams that participate.  Each five-man team, wearing their FD Gear, races down a slalom course while hanging onto a fire hose. This is not as easy as it sounds.

Although we didn't place in the top 10 we had a great time and are already looking forward to next year.  This Event benefits the Saint Barnabas Burn Center in Livingston, NJ.

Luckily we have been able to walk away every year, although in 1990 we almost needed a stretcher.
