History

The Point Pleasant Borough Fire Co. #1 was organized on August 4, 1920, when eleven members elected John Miller as their first Fire Chief and Al Holman the first President.

The Fire Co. responded as a mutual aid company to one of the most famous fires in U.S. History, the Hindenburg disaster on May 6, 1937.
